Pre K Ed Tech II - Union Elementary School

Regional School Unit 40 uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online. Union Elementary is seeking a dynamic team player to join our small but mighty team as a pre‑kindergarten education technician to work alongside our pre‑kindergarten classroom teacher. Responsibilities Assist the Pre Kindergarten teacher in creating a developmentally appropriate, play‑based and rigorous program with a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students and their families, motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed for a solid foundation for elementary school, and establish good relationships with other staff members. Assist in planning and assessing daily classroom activities, communicate effectively with children and adults from a variety of socio‑economic backgrounds; maintain the confidentiality of families, staff and program, assist in establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior that lead to an effective learning atmosphere, assist in providing individualized and small‑group instruction to meet the academic, functional and developmental needs of each child. #J-18808-Ljbffr ServingSchools
