Associate Attorney — Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditor's RightsA well-established, full-service law firm with Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditor's Rights practice groups in the state of Michigan is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven attorney to work alongside a highly regarded group handling sophisticated bankruptcy and insolvency matters across the region.About the RoleThe ideal candidate is an attorney with 2 to 9 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor's rights, or related insolvency work. This attorney will have the opportunity to represent a diverse client base including secured and unsecured lenders, creditors' committees, debtors, and trustees in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, as well as bankruptcy-related litigation. The role also involves out-of-court workouts, receiverships, business restructuring, and representation of purchasers of distressed assets — with a strong presence in the energy sector.What You Will DoAs an associate attorney on this team, you will handle all aspects of the debtor/creditor relationship both inside and outside of bankruptcy.
