Job Title: Facilities Technician

Job Description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for turning over apartments for new tenants, performing drywall repair and patching, and undertaking light carpentry tasks. The role includes light electrical repairs as well as inspecting and testing appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and handling snow removal during the winter months.

Responsibilities

• Turn over apartments for new tenants.
• Repair and patch drywall.
• Perform light carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Inspect and test appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Handle snow removal during winter months.

Essential Skills

• Experience in facility maintenance.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Knowledge of building and property maintenance.
• Ability to perform HVAC repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with boilers and HVAC systems.
• Possession of personal hand tools.
• Skills in painting.

Work Environment

The Facilities Technician will work on-site at Rustic Village Apartments, the largest property in New York State with 1300 units. There are six total openings. The position operates on a first-shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees are required to have their own tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rochester,NY.
