MDS Nurse

Overview: Opportunity for an *MDS Nurse* responsible for all aspects of the MDS process, including care planning and family meetings, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation. Responsibilities: Coordinate development, completion, and transmission of assessments per regulatory standards; review and manage reimbursement; case manage care plans and rehabilitative programs; demonstrate knowledge of clinical standards, regulations, and reimbursement in long-term and Medicare care. Qualifications: BSN preferred; current OH RN license; 3+ years’ MDS experience in long-term or post-acute care; for RN without MDS experience, 3 years’ general nursing experience required. Skills: Recognize resident autonomy and dignity; communicate caring and concern; support resident decision-making; make prompt, accurate judgments regarding care and emergencies.
