Job Opportunity: Full-Time Cardiologist

We are seeking a dedicated full-time cardiologist with a focus on heart failure and cardio-oncology to become a part of our dynamic, comprehensive cardiology practice. This practice is integrated within a large multi-specialty medical group comprising over 2000 professionals in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Our outpatient facilities are situated in Palo Alto, San Carlos, and Santa Clara, with the ability to admit patients at Stanford and El Camino hospitals. We maintain strong collaborative relationships with all Sutter locations throughout the Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a full spectrum of cardiovascular care, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, electrophysiology, inherited cardiovascular diseases, prevention, and advanced cardiac imaging.
  • Utilize on-site dedicated coronary CT and MRI scanners for patient diagnostics.
  • Lead the development of our cardio-oncology program, leveraging your expertise in managing both systolic and diastolic heart failure across various causes.
  • Engage in ongoing research initiatives aimed at reducing readmissions and enhancing telemedicine management.
Qualifications
  • Completion of fellowship training in cardiology, with board certification or eligibility.
  • Specific training in cardio-oncology or a minimum of two years of clinical experience in this area.
  • Leadership experience is preferred to help advance our cardio-oncology program.
  • Post-fellowship training in heart failure is highly desirable, although Advanced Heart Failure certification is not mandatory.
Working Conditions

Our current program is well-supported by a dedicated program manager, experienced nurse practitioners, philanthropic funding, and Sutter Administration. We aim to establish a robust data infrastructure to facilitate ongoing research efforts.

  • Guaranteed salary for the first two years, complemented by a production bonus.
