Nurse Practitioner – Part-Time to Full-Time

Shaw Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our patient-focused healthcare team. This position is ideal for a dependable, compassionate provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care in a busy outpatient clinical setting.

The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients while working collaboratively with our physicians, providers, and clinical staff. Both experienced Nurse Practitioners and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute, episodic, and chronic medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Prescribe medications and other necessary treatments within scope of practice
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Provide preventive care, patient education, and health counseling
• Coordinate and facilitate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation
• Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and quality-of-care standards

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and eligibility to practice in Florida
• New graduates and experienced Nurse Practitioners are welcome
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships and rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical practice
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Medicare and Medicaid eligible/qualified for credentialing
