Senior Marketing Specialist

Overview Join our client, a leading international economics consulting firm, as a Senior Marketing & Business Development Specialist. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the firm’s market presence through strategic event management, thought leadership initiatives, and practice development support. Compensation The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and skill level, with opportunities for discretionary annual bonuses aligned with performance. Annual bonuses and a competitive benefits package are not included in the base salary. Responsibilities Collaborate with practice teams to understand client needs and align marketing efforts accordingly. Organize and coordinate practice group meetings, ensuring action items are efficiently managed. Assist in developing tailored proposals and responses to formal RFPs. Generate and manage content such as case descriptions, experience profiles, and expert bios for the firm’s experience database. Partner with the editorial team to create compelling marketing materials, including website content, brochures, and client communications. Identify, plan, and execute profile-raising events like industry sponsorships, firm-hosted seminars, and speaking engagements to bolster market visibility. Support practice leaders in setting and achieving marketing and business development goals. Find and coordinate thought leadership opportunities for key practitioners and affiliates. Work with data and analytics teams to evaluate outreach impact and optimize future initiatives. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in practice or business development within a professional services, consulting, or legal setting. Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong project management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated interest in the firm’s expertise and a desire to learn continuously. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups. Adaptability to work across time zones and with various personalities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with CRM and AI tools is a plus.
