Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated success in a paraprofessional role within school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience assisting with both academic and behavioral support
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom accommodations
- Patient, resourceful, and adaptable to changing needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide daily classroom assistance under teacher supervision
- Support individual or small groups of students with academic assignments
- Assist with classroom management and facilitate a safe learning atmosphere
- Foster positive relationships to help students thrive socially and emotionally
- Implement instructional and behavioral strategies as directed
- Track and report student progress to teaching staff
