Test Technician I

Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.Position Summary:The primary responsibilities of the Test Technician I are assisting specialists in conducting analysis and sample preparation. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation.Responsibilities:Conduct tests such as vibration/shock, temperature, humidity, altitude, salt fog exposures, and other tests with the ESS (Environmental Simulation Services) segmentGather data required for performing routine tests and interpret data on routine pass/fail testsPerform troubleshooting and maintenance of the lab equipmentUse tools and technology to track workOther duties as assignedHigh School or GED; Associate’s degree a plus0-2 years’ experience in a material testing laboratory environmentBasic technical acumen with the ability to follow lab processes, test specifications, and perform routine testsAble to operate various types of lab equipment and tools with supervisionProblem-solving skills with the ability to follow direction and complete tasks in a timely mannerGood verbal and written communication skills with the ability to operate across other internal departments or functionsWorking knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.Additional Requirements:Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
