Locums OB/GYN coverage in California with 24 hour restricted call from the hospital and a predictable delivery mix, including Level 2 NICU support for deliveries down to 32 weeks.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient OB service, teens and adult patients
• Full scope general deliveries, not a trauma or pediatric center
• Backup available from other OBs and CNMs during the day as needed
• Hospital staff and anesthesia are available or on call

Schedule

• PRN monthly coverage
• 24 hour call shifts
• Credentialing around 30 days, temporary privileges available

Cases and Procedures

• Vaginal deliveries and C sections, approximately 70% vaginal and 30% C sections
• Premature deliveries included, more than 5% of volume, down to 32 weeks
• No VBACs

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California license required
• Comfortable documenting in Cerner
