Position Summary: Gaming and Technology Specialist I This role helps supports our team within Child Life. Option for five, 8.5hr days or four, 10.5hr days. Friday is required for work. Key Responsibilities: Promotes optimal adjustment of patients and families through the use of technology to aid in coping and understanding of their treatment, illness, and disability. Provides appropriate gaming and technology-based interventions based on assessment in collaboration with Child Life Specialist or medical team. Oversees bedside and group gaming and VR experience programs including inventory, set-up and maintenance. Participates as a member of unit multidisciplinary team and act as a resource for staff, sharing resources and information pertaining to the appropriate use of technology. Builds and maintains partnerships with organizations in partnership with the Trust who wish to support the Hospital through technology and technology based programming. Develops and maintains program statistics as appropriate. Collaborate with Volunteer Office staff in recruitment and management of tech volunteers, oversight and training of volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Education, IT, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Experience working with school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
