What You'll Do:

• Round on obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Provide emergent C-section and vaginal delivery care
• Manage high-risk deliveries (transfers to nearby NICU as needed)
• Perform emergent GYN procedures & respond to urgent cases
• Collaborate with hospital support teams (hospitalists, anesthesiology, radiology)
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in on-call duties for emergencies

What You Need:

• Active North Carolina medical license, NC DEA, NC Medicaid Credential
• Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2 years' obstetric/GYN experience preferred
• Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and deliver emergent care
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions

The facility supports a typical census of 1-3 deliveries per day, with a Level 1 nursery at nearby facilities for high-risk cases. The provider will be housed in hospital apartments within 20 minutes of the hospital, with support staff on-call 24/7.
