Radiology Technologist

Pay Range:$26.80 - $40.20A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patient. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.Position Specifics:Department: Radiologic TechnologistCore Function: ImagingSchedule: Part-Time, 24 hours/week; dayshift; Saturday and Sunday; 6 am to 6:30 pmFacility: St. Mary's HospitalLocation: Decatur, ILCompensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience; weekend position would be an additional $7/hour.Education QualificationsBachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.Experience Qualifications1 year experience is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsIL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
