Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction. Position Responsibilities Respond to NCQA Programming work authorization requests Analyze Part/Assembly Dimensional Tolerances Create MCD, Scripts, Plans for CMM, Laser Trackers, Portable Arm Creation of 2D Mylar or 3D CAD Nominal data as derived from various sources of released engineering, loft, and measurement of physical master tools. Develop Part / Assembly Indexing Plan for machining and/or inspection Create and/or update Non-Conformance Documents (NCR’s) in CMES Analyze Nominal vs. Measured Data, provide reports for Engineering Studies, Lean Improvement Projects, Non-Conformance Documentation, Inspection Reports, Machine Stability and Accuracy Tests, Reverse Engineering, SPC and Conformance Processes Required Skills Proven programming experience with one or more of the following applications: Modus, Camio, Calypso, Spatial Analyzer, Klingelnberg, MarShaft.
