This position is responsible supporting and assisting the daily loadout of contract installers. The Warehouse Associate I will support the shipping and receiving process as well as maintain the warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure./ppWarehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities/ppReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions./pulliAssist with shipping and receiving, loading unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight/liliReading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped./liliSorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code./liliFilling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area./liliRecording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program./liliWeighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards./liliOrganizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times./liliConserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results./liliGathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements./li/ulpWarehouse Associate I Competencies/pulliDemonstrate and understand compliance of the companys safety processes./liliWork in a fast pace environment with accuracy./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail./liliBasic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology./liliGood analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure./liliExperience and ability using computer programs preferred/li/ulpRequirements/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent/liliValid Drivers license required/lili1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred./liliForklift Certified preferred./liliFlooring Industry knowledge is a plus/liliRFMS Systems Experience is a plus/li/ulpBenefits/pulliCompetitive Health Insurance Plans/liliVision and Dental Plan/liliCompany paid life insurance./liliGenerous Paid Time Off Program/lili401(K) / Roth plan with employer match/liliGenerous PTO plus paid Holidays/li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliWarehouse facility is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures./liliRequires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks)./liliMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times./liliMust be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low/li/ul/div
