Hiring for a 3rd shift Forklift Operator in Lancaster County!

Job Title: 3rd Shift Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience

We are hiring a reliable Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is primarily focused on operating Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts while supporting production with material movement, general labor, and warehouse tasks. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates who are comfortable working overnight and in a fast-paced setting.

• Operate Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout production and warehouse areas
• Transport aluminum, steel, and copper coils between storage, workstations, and shipping
• Perform picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse duties to support daily operations
• Feed sheet aluminum into forming machines and assist with production as needed
• Maintain equipment, remove scrap materials, and keep work areas clean and safe

• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts with inverted steering for extended periods
• Experience with battery-powered and propane-powered lift trucks
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work in a hands-on production role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures

• Experience working with metal products such as aluminum, steel, or copper
• Ability to work across multiple departments (production, warehouse, shipping/receiving)
• Mechanical awareness to identify and report equipment issues
• Team-oriented with flexibility to take on different tasks
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Gain experience across multiple areas of manufacturing and warehouse operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LANCASTER, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
