Whether you're advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.Role ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate a commissioned sales team to achieve strong results for your locationCollaborate with other sales managers to drive overall store performance and foster continuous improvement through coaching and feedbackRecognize individual team member goals and create tailored development plansAnalyze and track sales performance metrics to meet and exceed targetsIdentify opportunities and solve challenges to ensure an exceptional customer experienceChampion CarMax values and initiatives to maintain a people-first cultureFoster continuous improvement through coaching and feedbackResponsible for CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements for your department and/or location, including workplace safety.Required QualificationsMinimum of three years of management experience with a proven track record of successExperience in a sales-driven environment with strong performance resultsAbility to execute long- and short-term sales strategies effectivelySkilled in developing action plans to drive team performanceStrong ability to communicate clearly and influence othersAbility to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goalsFlexibility to work evenings and weekends to support store operationsThe annual salary for this position is:$60,000.00 - $104,900.00May be eligible for bonus and equity.Benefits:Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday.
