Position Details:
Position Type : Full Time / Contract
Job Location : Tempe, AZ (with hybrid work flexibility); some travel required late 2026

Compensation : $50 - $75/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Our Client is a global professional services firm that provides engineering, design, construction, and consulting solutions across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, water, and government sectors

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial plumbing systems
• Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details
• Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design
• Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines
• Apply expert knowledge of plumbing systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience
• 4+ years of Revit design experience
• 5+ years of industrial plumbing design experience, including layout and routing
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. Plumbing Codes, specifically the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)

 
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:

• Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Technical or Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Advanced problem solving, planning, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision
