Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday requirements.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care with a strong background in handling a variety of medical and surgical cases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care for individuals with general medical and surgical needs.
- Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:9, with support from PCA techs on the unit.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Two years of nursing experience required.
- Proficient in EPIC charting system.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active New York State nursing license.
- COVID vaccination required.
