Certified Payroll Specialist (Temp-to-Hire " Permanent for the Right Candidate)Prevailing Wage Public Works ComplianceWe're growing our payroll compliance team and looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. If you have experience with prevailing wagepublic works, and certified payroll reporting, this role offers long-term career potential and the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.What You'll DoLead Certified Payroll Reporting for government contracts (hours, classifications, pay rates, fringe, gross wages)Support Compliance & Auditing including reconciliations, wage law adherence, union requirements, and SOX controlsManage full-cycle payroll for a high-volume, multi-state workforceMaintain audit-ready payroll documentation and ensure data accuracyCollaborate with Talent Management, Accounting, Project Management, and Technology teamsWhat You Bring3+ years of payroll processing experienceExperience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, or public worksMulti-state or multi-company payroll experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlinesExperience with TempWorks, LCP Tracker, Points North, or E-Mars is a plusPreferred CertificationsCPP (PayrollOrg)CPS (NACPB)Why This Role MattersYou'll play a key role in ensuring compliance across major public works and prevailing wage projects.
