Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - St. Louis SE, MO

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to promote bone health products in the St. Louis SE territory. The role involves educating medical professionals on clinical benefits, managing territory sales, developing customer relationships, and navigating payer environments to support patient access.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical product knowledge and communicate benefits to medical professionals for appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person or virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze business effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and uphold Amgen values throughout sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience (Specialty Representative)
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years (Senior Specialty Representative)
• Sales, marketing, or clinical experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, bone health, or related therapeutic fields preferred
• Strong influencing, relationship-building, and sales execution skills
• Life Sciences or Business Administration degree preferred
• Local market knowledge and adaptability

Compensation: Specialty Representative: $89,880–$121,602 annually; Senior Specialty Representative: $115,036–$155,638 annually
