We aim to help our clients live safely and comfortably in their homes and communities—promoting their overall health, well-being, quality of life, independence, and happiness—ensuring peace of mind for both clients and their loved ones.Job description:The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high-quality, non-medical care and support services to clients, delivering care with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and in a respectful manner. Some caregiver duties include, but are not limited to:Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.Providing clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors (i.e., wandering, paranoia) a safe and secure environment by monitoring their health and safety, as it is a priority.Assist clients with all their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans (i.e., personal hygiene assistance—oral care, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.)Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean-living environment.Meal preparation and assist with feeding if needed.Transferring & Ambulation—provide safety, stability, and support while client is mobile and during transfers.Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.)Requirements needed to apply:Must have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver.Must be, or willing to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).Must be able to clear a criminal background check by the DOJ/FBI.Must have a current Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test (or willingness to complete one).Must obtain a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be able to provide 2 forms of ID such as a Driver's license, social security, Passport, and/or Birth certificate.Responsibilities:Follow clients’ provided plan of care, safety precautions, and procedures.Monitor, observe, and report suspected concerns or change of clients' condition or health status to a supervisor or the appropriate parties immediately.Communicate effectively and respond to all forms of communication from the office in a timely manner.Skills needed:Must be reliable, dependable, and be on-time.Must dress professionally.Must be kind, empathetic, compassionate, respectful, have a positive attitude, and great work ethics.Must have a passion and the desire to help others improve their quality of life, while maintaining clients' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.Must be comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and care documentation.Benefits:Paid training (paid at minimum wage).Bi-weekly pay.Flexible schedule (4-to-15-hour shifts.
