Glass Technician

Glass TechnicianPatrick Allen Companies is seeking an experienced Glass Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys delivering exceptional service to our customers.This position is responsible for the installation, repair, replacement, and servicing of commercial and residential glass products, including storefront systems, mirrors, shower enclosures, windows, doors, and other glazing systems.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and replace commercial and residential glass productsMeasure openings and accurately cut, fit, and install glass and related materialsInstall storefront systems, aluminum framing, mirrors, shower enclosures, doors, and windowsRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and project specificationsEnsure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectationsSafely transport, handle, and install glass productsMaintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working conditionCommunicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project managersFollow all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsComplete required paperwork and job documentation accurately and timelyQualificationsRequiredPrevious experience in commercial and/or residential glass installationAbility to accurately measure and install glass productsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to safely lift and carry heavy glass materialsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and glass installation equipmentStrong problem-solving skills and professional customer service attitudePreferredExperience with storefront systems and aluminum framingExperience installing shower enclosures and custom mirrorsKnowledge of glazing techniques and industry best practicesCDL license or willingness to obtain one (if applicable)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at varying heightsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to safely handle glass and construction materialsBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experiencePaid Time Off (PTO)Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceSIMPLE IRA with Company MatchOngoing training and career advancement opportunitiesAt Patrick Allen Companies, we believe our employees are our greatest asset.
