Assistant Housekeeper | Dietary Aide

Position Overview: This role involves maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment to support patient care and staff activities. Responsibilities include dusting, washing, disinfecting furniture and equipment, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, disposing of refuse, and arranging furniture. Additionally, the position supports food service operations by serving food, pouring beverages, assisting with simple kitchen tasks, and cleaning utensils and dishes.

Education & Training: No formal education required; on-the-job training is provided. Completion of dietary safety orientation and quiz during onboarding is mandatory. New hires must complete Food Safety and Modified Diets courses within the first month, and a ServSafe certification within three months.

Experience: Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Experience in food service is advantageous.

Requirements: Ability to plan and organize work schedules effectively. Must communicate in English sufficiently for training, safety, and teamwork. Ability to follow both oral and written instructions is essential.
