Warehouse Associate

Description POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to ensure the accurate receipt and processing of customer orders while providing timely and efficient service. This role requires the ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of effectively communicating across departments. Strong multitasking abilities, basic systems knowledge, and a focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction are essential to this role. COMPENSATION

QUALIFICATIONS Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders via phone, email, or online platforms. Accurately input orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct. Verify inventory levels and notify customers of stock availability or delays. Assist kitchen staff with movement of food including timely rotation, thawing, staging, and processing of food production materials. Assist with physical inventory of products. Communication and Coordination: Work together with the allocations, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Provide customers with updates on order status, including shipment tracking details. Address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues promptly. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of orders, transactions, and correspondence. Generate order reports and provide insights to management as required. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during order processing. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Assist management with additional tasks as necessary. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous experience in order management, customer service, or related roles (preferred). Proficiency with order processing systems such as Radio Frequency Scanners (RF Scanners) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Skilled in operating and maintaining electric rider and rider pallet jack. Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations and OSHA standards. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to maintain a pleasant and calm demeanor under pressure. Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail. WORKING CONDITIONS Hours of Operation:

Organization hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., this position may work additional hours occasionally throughout the year, especially during peak times such as holiday seasons, and disaster response. Environment:

This position works in a warehouse setting with varying periods of standing, talking, and/or visual concentration, and use of office equipment. Must maintain office safety standards. Occasional work will occur in the warehouse or outside in fields and warehouses in inclement weather. The noise in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Travel:

This position may have occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or special events which may require the use of a personal vehicle. OSHA Standards:

Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.
