InstaSwim connects independent swim instructors with families looking for private swim lessons at home pools and community pools in Los Angeles and nearby towns. Families book through InstaSwim, you choose which lesson offers to accept, and you set your own schedule.
About InstaSwimInstaSwim is a nationwide marketplace for private, mobile swim lessons. Families in cities across the US use InstaSwim to find a swim instructor for children and adults of every age and skill level. Our support team handles bookings, billing and scheduling questions so you can focus on teaching.
What the Work Looks Like- Teach private (1 on 1) and small group swim lessons at the family's pool.
- Plan each lesson around the swimmer's age, ability and goals.
- Track progress and adjust lessons as swimmers improve.
- Keep every lesson safe and fun.
- Travel to lessons within the distance you choose.
- Your schedule: accept the lesson offers that fit your week.
- Your area: set how far you are willing to travel.
- Lesson offers: get offers when families near you book (offers depend on demand in your area).
- Fast payouts after each completed lesson.
- Coverage: instructors who complete onboarding are covered under InstaSwim's liability insurance while teaching InstaSwim lessons.
- Simple onboarding: apply online, complete the onboarding steps, and start receiving offers.
- No minimum experience required. Swim teaching experience is a plus, and every application is reviewed.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to get certified before teaching).
- Reliable transportation.
- Legally able to work in the US.
- Able to pass a background check.
- A professional, positive attitude with children and adults.
- $40 to $65 per 1 hour lesson.
- Some lesson offers include a pay boost of $5 to $25, always stated in writing before you accept.
- This is an independent contractor role.
