Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for practicing as a pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert advice to patients, and supporting overall pharmacy operations. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, accuracy, and professional integrity.

Duties

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with medical prescriptions and legal guidelines.
Practice as a pharmacist by reviewing, interpreting, and verifying prescriptions to ensure safety and appropriateness for patients.
Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Maintain comprehensive records of prescriptions dispensed and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all safety protocols, legal requirements, and quality standards.
Stay updated on new medications, industry regulations, and best practices in pharmacy care.

Requirements

Valid license or certification to practice as a pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience practicing as a pharmacist with a thorough understanding of medication management.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, and pharmacy software systems.
Excellent communication skills for effectively advising patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
