Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Behavioral Health Float Pool

Location : Avera Behavioral Health Center – Sioux Falls Position : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Type : Regular Shift : Rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays. Pay : $24.00 – $33.25 per hour, based on experience. Position Highlights Floats to all Behavioral Health inpatient units, The Link, BHS Urgent Care, and Behavioral Health Adolescent Addiction Unit Opportunity to work in varied inpatient settings with multidisciplinary teams Average 1 LPN to 7-8 patient ratio 100% self-schedule Varied shifts; 72 hours/2 weeks, every third weekend and holiday rotation Student Loan Repayment Program eligibility: $167 monthly payment up to $10,000 total What you will do Collect data and conduct a focused nursing assessment of patients. Participate with other health care providers in developing and modifying patient-centered care plans. Implement nursing interventions within the care plan. Assist in evaluating responses to interventions. Maintain safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Advocate for patient best interests. Communicate and collaborate with patients and team members. Assist with health counseling and teaching. Delegate and assign nursing interventions to implement the care plan. Essential Qualifications Must be able to work the specified hours and perform essential job functions satisfactorily, including visual acuity and effective communication. Reasonable accommodations available. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current active license in the state of practice upon hire.
