Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll & Accounting Assistant to join our remote team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone interested in developing practical experience in payroll, bookkeeping, and general accounting operations.

The successful candidate will assist with routine financial and payroll-related tasks, maintain accurate records, and support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative responsibilities. Training and guidance will be provided.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing and maintaining payroll records.
Enter and organize financial and payroll data accurately.
Review timesheets, employee information, and payroll documentation.
Assist with basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Maintain organized digital accounting and payroll files.
Reconcile basic financial records and identify discrepancies.
Assist with preparing routine reports and documentation.
Respond to internal questions regarding payroll and accounting information.
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and financial information.
Follow established accounting procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
