CNA HHA Caregiver

Responsive RecruiterAssisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers for flexible in-home care shifts in Jacksonville and the surrounding Duval County area. If you want caregiver work that fits your availability, keeps you out of facility-style assignments, and allows you to build real relationships with clients, this may be a strong fit. This is a W-2 employee position. It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position. We are a locally owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team who are involved in the business every day. Our belief is simple: when caregivers are respected, supported, and communicated with clearly, clients receive better care.Home care schedules vary because every client's needs are different. Available shifts may include:Weekday daytime shiftsWeekend shiftsMorning, afternoon, and evening shiftsSome overnight opportunitiesPart-time and full-time opportunitiesMinimum 4-hour shiftsLonger 8-hour and 12-hour shifts when availableOvertime opportunities when availableWe work to match caregivers with cases based on availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance. Flexible scheduling matters, but reliability matters too. Once a caregiver accepts a shift, that client and family are counting on them.Typical pay is $16 to $18 per hour for most cases. Higher rates may be available for select assignments based on client needs, schedule, location, and case complexity. W-2 employment with payroll taxes handled through payroll. Same-day pay access through TapCheck. Direct deposit. Referral bonuses. Mileage reimbursement between same-day client visits. Office support when questions or issues come up. Common responsibilities include:Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistanceMobility and transfer supportMeal preparationLight housekeeping related to the clientCompanionship and conversationMedication remindersHelp with errands or appointments when included in the care planReporting changes, concerns, or schedule issues to the officeThis is home care, not a facility position.
