Job Title

RN - Med/Surg/Tele (Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Every Third Weekend Required | Holiday Availability Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to work every third weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
• Availability to work holiday shifts including Christmas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior telemetry monitoring experience
• ACLS certification
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
