Logistics Coordinator

Role Summary:As a Logistics Coordinator you will ensure the on-time outbound flow of goods and materials to our customers. You will provide support to multiple areas including but not limited to shipping, planning, sales and operations.Schedule truckloads and LTL shipmentsCreate AWB and BOL’s for FedEx, UPS, DHL & any required trucking companiesWork in tandem with export compliance to ensure exports ship correctlyWork with project managers, planners and quality to ensure product is prepared to shipAssist with any shipping related inquiriesPerform daily and monthly close out activities as needed by accountingFollow exporting requirements including filing EEI'sHelp schedule jobs to pack based on prioritiesAttend production meetings to provide updates on upcoming shipments and offer insight on departmental needs as neededCreate monthly shipping plans and track progressKeep accurate records for auditsLoad outbound shipments with fork truck and/or crane on flatbeds and/or trailersFollow standard operating proceduresOther duties as requiredPreferred Experience / Skills:Basic knowledge of warehouse managementRelated experience and/or trainingExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Access)Strong organizational and communication skillsCrane and forklift experience preferredExperience with ERP / MRP systems such SAP preferredPrevious experience with the online systems of FedEx, UPS and other carriers is desiredMay be required to lift or push up to 50 poundsHS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experienceAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasksThe pay range for this role is $25.21 - $37.76 per hour.Benefits Starting from Day 1:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options)Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D InsuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityRetirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness ResourcesEducational Assistance ProgramTime off Policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid vacation)Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Flowserve
