No Experieance necessary we will train you. valid driver's license/HS Diploma (GED equivalent) is required. Event Details Date: Monday August 31st Time: 11:00 AM -2:00 PM Location: 29305 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 Upon Arrival: Candidates are welcome to park in the visitor lot and enter through the main door, check in at the front desk. Schedule: Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance. Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays. Hours are determined by blood drive schedule so hours do vary day to day Locations vary day to day.5 days on 2 days off , Available Days Monday-Friday , Tuesday -Thursday, Sunday-Thursday. days may change due to business needs not all slots may be available at time of hire. Full-time (32-40 hours/week). Position Summary Under direct supervision by department leadership, performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Interacts with donors and coordinators, providing a high level of customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high quality services. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. Responsible for operating the mobile drive vehicle, loading and unloading supplies and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Follows all DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster, and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment. Loads/unloads supplies and performs set up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control. Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy. Treats donors with customer service excellence, presenting a positive image. Responds to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with a timely and complete response and escalates to leader when appropriate. Provides a service-centric donor experience by interacting with donors respectfully, compassionately, and professionally. May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima), including recognizing and responding to automation reactions. Recruits and converts donors for automation. Contributes to and upholds a positive team culture and employee experience by fostering teamwork, collaborating effectively, maintaining an encouraging environment, and by supporting coworkers through kind and respectful behaviors. Maintains product integrity and ensures proper identification of all donors, performs routine maintenance on equipment, and completes department records as needed. May prepare/pack units for transport. Observes donors for reactions, provides reaction care and assists other staff in handling reactions if needed. Rebooks donors for future donation appointments. May be subject to additional background checks as required by sponsor if asked to assist a mobile.
