Job Description: Observation units are dedicated units built to provide efficient protocol-based care to patients with well-defined diagnoses or presenting symptoms such as chest pain, asthma, and congestive heart failure. Only approximately one-third of US hospitals currently have an observation unit.

Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. Penalty: Should Subcontractor Personnel be termed for cause in the first week, no hours will be billable. Guarantee Hours Policy: 40 hours per week when 8-hour or 10-hour shifts are worked or 36 hours per week when 12-hour shifts are worked. These guaranteed hours do not include on-call or call-back hours. HOSPITAL may directly hire Subcontractor Personnel with no fee after one 13- week travel assignment.
