Due Diligence Specialist

Location: Brussels, Belgium Engagement Status: Freelance and will end within 18 months Overview We are partnered with a large, global pharmaceutical organisation and are supporting the build‑out of their Ethics & Business Integrity function. As a Third‑Party Due Diligence Specialist, you will provide hands‑on operational support across global third‑party due diligence activities, with a strong focus on anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption (ABAC) risk management. This role is ideal for a compliance professional who thrives in fast‑paced, regulated environments and enjoys managing multiple due diligence cases while working closely with procurement, compliance, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage multiple third‑party due diligence cases simultaneously across global markets Collect, review, and validate due diligence questionnaires and supporting documentation Maintain accurate, complete, and audit‑ready records with due diligence and workflow systems Identify, track, and document ABAC‑related red flags and potential risks liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications, mitigation evidence, and approvals Prepare clear case summaries and supporting documentation for compliance and ethics review Support reporting activities, data quality checks, and audit readiness initiatives Hard Skills Proven experience in third‑party due diligence, third‑party risk management, or compliance operations Strong understanding of anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption (ABAC) principles Experience reviewing due diligence questionnaires and supporting documentation Familiarity with workflow, case management, or due diligence platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Fluency in English (written and spoken) Soft Skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracyStrong stakeholder communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently in a global, matrix environment Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working to deadlines Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or equivalent experience Master’s degree in a related field is advantageous Professional certifications such as CCEP‑I or other compliance, anti‑corruption, or third‑party risk management certifications are highly desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
