General Medicine Providers Needed

Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is seeking general medicine providers to perform compensation and pension exams and separation health assessments across the country.

Current openings:

• Brimley, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Alma, MI - 2 days per week needed
• Wakefield, MI - 1.5 days per week needed
• Norway, MI - 2 days per week needed
• Rogers City, MI - 4 days per week needed
• Sault S Marie, MI - 4 days per week needed
• West Branch, MI - 2 days per week needed
• Manistique, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Ludington, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Gaylord, MI - 2 days per week needed
• Bad Axe, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Presque Isle, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Harrisville, MI - 1 day per week needed
• Newberry, MI - 1 day per week needed

Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing. Option to work days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours). One-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing. No prescribing, no treatment. Quick credentialing & onboarding.

Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.

Rate structure for presentations:

• Half-day rate - $800 flat rate for 4 hour shifts or less (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• Daily rate - $1600 flat rate for 5 hour shifts or longer (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• Bonus - one time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams
• Local candidates only, travel included in rates
• Please note: Follow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics). This will not be paid outside of the day or full day rate.

Client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or the portal training before starting.
