Responsibilities You’ll support a specialized team dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and improving cardiovascular health every single day. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. 6 months of healthcare experience. 6 months of medical assistant experience.
