Job Title: Art Director for Retail Story Design
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $68-70
Introduction

Join a dynamic Brand Story Design team as an Art Director, where you'll innovate and develop consumer-led retail concepts and the evolution of immersive retail environments. This role is perfect for a strategic, collaborative, and creative leader who is passionate about design excellence and emerging technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of brand design experience with a focus on creative sophistication in concepts and design/visual communications.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote.
• Retail industry experience preferred, including retail environments, concepts, and programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
• Ability to sketch design ideas and visually communicate concept development through ideation.
• Passion for current trends in Technology, Design, Art, Interactive, and Experience Design.
• Can-do attitude with proven ability to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
• A sense of humor and a positive spirit.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, SketchUp, and Unreal Engine.
• International retail experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and evolve non-seasonal retail storytelling across the full Client stores portfolio.
• Lead projects from concept to delivery under the direction of a Senior Director for Story Design.
• Provide leadership development and design direction to junior level designers.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to complete multiple projects, ensuring creative intent, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Communicate and present design concepts and create presentation materials that optimally communicate design intent.
• Produce project production files when required.
