Civil Engineer (P.E), Water/Wastewater

Halff has a position open for an experienced Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer, with their Florida PE License, to join our Water/Wastewater team in Tampa, FL. The candidate must be able to successfully work on projects closely, with our internal and external clients. The ideal candidate would bring at least 3 years of experience in Water/Wastewater design performing design for private and/or public water infrastructure projects that include pump stations, water pipeline, sanitary sewer, and/or pump facility design, modeling, planning and pipelines. What You Will Do Responsible for Water/Wastewater projects, work with the team leader in the development of plans, specifications and other contract documents for water, wastewater and reclaimed water projects that include pump stations, water pipeline, sanitary sewer, and/or pump facility design, modeling, planning and pipelines. Projects may be for private and/or public clients. May perform flood infrastructure planning and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure. Oversee project design, as well as mentor less experienced positions. What You Will Need Minimum of 3 years of experience with Water/Wastewater projects, water pipeline, sanitary sewer, and/or pump facility design, and design for infrastructure. Bachelor degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering. Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or can obtain within 6 months. Ability to work independently and make significant, effective decisions. Ability to manage projects, clients, and support staff and provide technical leadership to design teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Water/Wastewater experience is a plus. Pump station, water storage, and pipeline design experience is a plus.
