Global Training and Education Specialist

Waters Corporation seeks a Global Training and Education Specialist to develop and deliver technical training for field service engineers and technical support staff on the Microbiology instrument portfolio. The role involves creating curricula, certifying personnel, and ensuring service readiness for new products and major changes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver technical training curricula for field service engineers and technical support personnel
- Create laboratory exercises, troubleshooting scenarios, and assessment tools for qualification and certification
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer classes and certify service personnel and regional instructors
- Participate in new product development projects and ensure training readiness for launches and major changes
- Partner with Service Engineering, R&D, Quality, and regional teams to validate service documentation and procedures
Requirements
- Service proficiency with Microbiology instruments or related analytical equipment
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Understanding of regulated quality requirements and compliance standards
- Ability to translate complex technical content for diverse audiences
- Experience developing instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training programs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
