The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, NM and is looking for a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the hospital pharmacy team and play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients when they need it most.

We're looking for someone dependable, organized, and passionate about supporting patient wellness through excellence in pharmacy services. This role is based in a hospital setting and may include rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed.

Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will assist with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management to support safe, accurate, and efficient patient care.

What You'll Do

• Assist pharmacists with preparing,packaging, and dispensing medications
• Support safe and timely medicationdelivery throughout the hospital (to nursing units and other departmentsas needed)
• Maintain accurate medicationrecords, labeling, and storage procedures
• Help manage pharmacy inventory(including ordering and receiving), supplies, and medication restocking
• Compound sterile and non - sterilepreparations following safety and compliance standards
• Support insurance processing andprior authorizations as directed by the Pharmacist
• Operate and maintain pharmacyautomation systems and equipment efficiently
• Deliver exceptional customerservice and support to patients, nurses, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain compliance with hospitalpolicies and state/federal regulations

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Pharmacy Techniciantraining program preferred
• Current New Mexico PharmacyTechnician license (or eligibility to obtain)
• National Pharmacy TechnicianCertification (CPhT) preferred
• Minimum one year of previoushospital or clinical pharmacy experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail andcommitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication,organization, and computer skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in abusy healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medicalterminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication names
• Candidatesshould be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25lbs
