Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg/Telemetry position on a night shift schedule at a hospital in Des Moines, IA, with every-other-weekend and floating requirements.

Details

• 5 South Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Must be willing to float between two hospital campuses (main and west Des Moines locations)
• Holiday coverage required for: July 3rd & 4th, the day before and day of Thanksgiving, and the day before and day of New Year's Day

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• No prior experience requirement specified for this position
• Local candidates in Iowa are eligible to apply at a local pay rate
• BLS certification must include front and back of card
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred for RNs
