Financial SpecialistClient First Technologies is currently seeking a Financial Specialist in support of our government customer's enterprise software licensing and vendor management program. The Financial Specialist manages billing, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting activities that support sound budget management and cost accountability across a large, multi-organization software licensing portfolio.This is a full-time, remote position, with occasional requirements to be readily available and physically present at the customer facility in Rockville, MD.CFT offers a full benefits package, a collaborative work environment, and a strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.This position is contingent upon contract award.RequirementsManage billing processes across multiple customer organizations and business unitsEnter and track expenditures using the program's budget tracking tool, and validate charges against contract terms and invoicesManage and maintain records related to enterprise-wide software purchases, ensuring accuracy and completenessDevelop financial reports and provide cost analysis to support program leadership decision-makingIdentify cost savings opportunities and support budget planning and forecasting activitiesEnsure financial data accuracy and integrity across all reporting tools and systems of recordSupport the development of Software Spend and Cost Analysis Reports, including trend, variance, and forecast analysisSupport development of Cost Savings and Cost Avoidance Reports, documenting realized and potential savingsSupport audit readiness activities by maintaining accurate, current financial documentationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of experience in financial management, budget analysis, or cost tracking, preferably in a federal or enterprise IT environmentExperience with budget tracking tools and financial reporting systemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysisDemonstrated experience preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and cost savings documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrityAbility to obtain and maintain the required background investigation appropriate to the positionPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with federal budget cycles and cost/price analysis principles preferredPhysical DemandsMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of timeOccasional travel and overtime may be requiredRequired Clearances and ScreeningsThis position is subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility for a position designated with Low Risk sensitivity. Candidates with a current Tier 1/Low Risk Background Investigation or equivalent are preferred.
