As part of our team, you’ll receive company stock at no cost to you, with benefits that include: Building long-term wealth for your future Enjoying a retirement benefit you don’t pay for Sharing directly in the success you help create every day PRN - All shifts available Starting Pay $35-$37/hour Requirements Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and be a graduate of an approved AMA school of Respiratory Therapy Current and active Louisiana Respiratory Therapy license Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care Must be able to work flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts Patient care oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Duties Provide general respiratory therapeutic services to patients including oxygen, medical gas, and humidification and suction therapies. Document patient/resident procedures, organize and analyze data, maintain accurate records. Communicate relevant patient/resident information to appropriate physicians and caregivers Provide staff education related to respiratory therapy Exhibits commitment to results by looking for and recommending/implementing process improvements Monitor patient/resident progress and update respiratory care plan as needed Make a difference in the lives of others — and your own — with Capitol House Nursing and Rehab.
