Overhead Door/Wayne Dalton in Pensacola, Florida , is looking for a full-time Cycle Counter to join their team.



Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory located on the manufacturing floor and in designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies using Oracle ERP tools and handheld scanners.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, materials management, and procurement personnel to ensure inventory accuracy and timely reporting.
• Utilize Oracle ERP to log, verify, and analyze inventory data, ensuring real-time visibility and traceability.
• Support root cause analysis for inventory variances and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working in active manufacturing zones.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and plant efficiency.
• Communicate effectively across departments to support production goals and inventory integrity.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in supply chain or inventory management preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations-preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems and handheld inventory devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed and work safely in a fast-paced production setting.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Compensation & Benefits:

• For this position, you will be paid $17.50-21.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Shifts available: Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 2:30 pm with possible overtime
• Contract position
