Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

What would it mean to enjoy a genuine three-day weekend every week—without sacrificing the medicine you love or the stability of a supportive team?

If you're ready for a veterinary role that makes room for life outside the clinic, this opportunity in the greater south Atlanta region deserves a closer look. You'll practice small animal medicine in a team-oriented setting, build lasting relationships with pet owners, and have the freedom to focus on delivering thoughtful care without a schedule built around weekends or after-hours calls.

Whether you're an experienced DVM or looking for your next career step, this could be the change that brings more predictability to your working life.

What You'll Find Here

• A four-day workweek: Enjoy a consistent schedule designed around four working days.
• No weekend shifts: Keep your weekends free for family, friends, hobbies, or simply recharging.
• No on-call duties: Leave after-hours on-call responsibilities out of your regular work commitments.
• Production-based earning potential: Receive a base salary plus quarterly production bonuses, with no negative accrual.
• Support for continued learning: Use your CE allowance and paid education time to keep developing your clinical skills.
• A team-based approach: Collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff while building strong relationships with clients.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a small animal general-practice role focused on dogs and cats. Your work includes wellness and preventive care, physical examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. You'll also help pet owners understand their animals' needs and make informed decisions about ongoing care.

In-house diagnostic resources support everyday clinical decision-making, while collaboration with the broader team helps keep patient care moving forward.

This opportunity may suit an associate veterinarian who values consistent time off, enjoys general practice, and wants to build lasting client relationships without weekend or on-call commitments. A DVM or VMD degree and a Georgia veterinary license—or eligibility to obtain one—are required.
