Phlebotomist

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bethesda, MD, working in a client office. Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible as needed); Saturdays as assigned. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and similar testing. Enter patient information accurately and timely. Process billing and collect payments when required. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Execute additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet experience requirements. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Travel to additional sites as needed; reliable transportation required. Pay Range $17.75 – $26.00 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled for a 7‑on/7‑off schedule are eligible for all listed benefits except PTO or FTO.
