Outreach Coordinator

Pos ition Summary: The Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general ledger throughout the monthly cycle. They perform critical accounting functions under general supervision, including journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and the integrity of all financial information. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) requirements, evaluating emerging GAAP and regulatory changes, and recommending updates to maintain compliance and accuracy. The Accountant assists with annual budgeting, audits, and process improvement initiatives. Employees are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to this position, including but not limited to all policies and procedures pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
