This provides the division with up-to-date inventory records to ensure efficient shipping and a high confidence in customer product.## Ready to build a career with a company that’s leading the food service industry?## ## Schedule: Monday- Friday 11AM- 7:30PMThe starting pay is $25/hr.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21 and $33. This role will also receive overtime compensation. To review available benefits, please click here: Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and a continuous improvement focus.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Compiles records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials.* Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.* Assesses stock supply and reorder status.* Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items.* Assists in inventory and procedural audits when necessary.* Performs other clerical duties as necessary.**RELATIONSHIPS****Internal:** **Inventory Control Supervisor/Director** – Receives training and limited supervision in daily activities. Review of errors occurred. Advises on the activities of other inventory control associates.**Day Warehouse Manager -** Receives information on inventory issues**Purchasing Department -** Receives & provides information on inventory and quality control issues.**External:** None **QUALIFICATIONS****Education/Training:** High School Diploma or GED**Related Experience:** 5 years of experience with inventory control and HAACP requirements required.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:** Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills. Must be able to work on complex tasks, prioritize workload and advise others in department on workflow. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others.**Physical Requirements:** Constant sitting, frequent standing or walking.
