CNA In Labor And Delivery

This position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit with a capacity of 38 beds. The CNA will be responsible for assisting pregnant and postpartum mothers. Daily duties include answering unit phones and call lights. The CNA will prepare charts and monitor maternal vital signs. Assistance with patient ambulation for postpartum mothers is also required. The position requires availability for night shifts, every other weekend. There is no additional call or standby requirement. The dress code is hospital provided scrubs. The facility uses an EPIC charting system. There is no holiday requirement for this position. Maintaining compliance with proper certifications is essential. Candidates must be adept in all skills and abilities taught within the CNA curriculum. This role does not involve floating to other units.
